Hurtt to coach Louisville in opener
Former Miami Hurricanes and current Louisville Cardinals assistant coach Clint Hurtt, who allegedly misled the NCAA's investigation of Miami's athletic department, will coach for the Cardinals on Sunday, per ESPN.com.
A school spokesman said Hurtt will remain with the Cardinals as long as "there is no announcement" by the NCAA.
Hurtt was placed on administrative leave by Lousville coach Charlie Strong and did not take part in the Cardinals' spring practices. He returned to the staff for fall camp.
Hurtt met with the NCAA over the summer. A decision is pending.
Louisville opens the season against Ohio on Sunday.
