Auburn WR Coates says QB decision will "be a war"
Auburn has one of the best problems in football; choosing between Nick Marshall and Jeremy Johnson to start at quarterback.
Both Marshall and Johnson have proven they are capable of taking the role, and have matched each other in terms of performance. Head coach Gus Malzahn and offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee have implied a decision could be made by Monday.
Wide receiver Sammie Coates mentioned the starting role will "...be a war..." continuing to say both quarterbacks have been "...really working hard... they're bringing the best out of this team."
Experience is the only thing Marshall and Johnson are lacking as they compete for the starting role.
