McNabb: They're brainwashing RG3 in Washington
In an interview with GQ, Robert Griffin III said he thinks it's "probably best" if he and former NFL quarterback Donovan McNahbb don't talk. But that doesn't mean McNabb is going to keep his mouth closed on the subject of Griffin.
Speaking on NBC Sports Radio (via CSN Philly) McNabb elaborated on what he thinks is going on in Washington.
"I'm just trying to help him, but clearly the young generation think they have all the answers. And he's going through a little turmoil right now of trying to get out on the field. And it's unfortunate, but that's where we're at right now as far as these young quarterbacks who think they have all the answers.
"I honestly think that over there in Washington he's getting brainwashed."
McNabb played for Mike Shanahan and the Redskins in 2010. In 13 games he passed for 3,377 yards, 14 touchdowns and 15 interceptions. He was made the number three QB for the final three games of the season by Shanahan and then traded to the Vikings for his final season in 2011.
