Paris - Paris Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi looks set to become the latest footballer to swap Europe for China after the French champions said talks with Hebei China Fortune were progressing.

"The talks are going very well, but nothing will be finalised for a few days," said PSG, while French media reported the Argentine's departure to Hebei, where he could earn an annual salary of €13 million ($14.7 million).

Lavezzi, 30, joined PSG in 2012 for €30 million ($34 million) from Napoli.

Three and a half years, 161 matches and 35 goals later, he could be leaving for less than €10 million ($11.3 million) with his contract finishing in June.

PSG manager Laurent Blanc has used Lavezzi mainly as a substitute this season, giving him just three league starts.

The current transfer window shuts Feb. 26 in China, with Lavezzi ready to continue the exodus that has already seen Jackson Martinez, Ramires and Alex Teixeira all make big-money moves to the Far East.
