Ezequiel Lavezzi already announced his intention to leave Paris Saint-Germain when his contract expires at the end of the 2015-16 campaign, and he has now alerted a host of Serie A clubs by admitting he misses Italian life.

The Argentinian forward spent five years with Napoli, winning the Coppa Italia in his final season with the club before moving to the French capital to the tune of €26.5 million in 2012.

Lavezzi told La Gazetta dello Sport that he missed the Italian lifestyle, according to ESPN FC, adding: "I especially miss the football. Football is really intense throughout all of Italy. Life is different in France. It isn't better or worse, but it is different.

"There are several options (for a future move), and I still have several months to decide what is best for me."

At 30, there's a chance Lavezzi could be signing the final contract of his career next summer, so he will take his time over the decision.

"This will be my last contract, and I want to play for a club that will motivate me. My focus will also be on the city and the quality of life there.

"At this time, I think I've reached a point in my life where my attention is on making the best decision for myself."

The 48-time Argentina international insisted he hasn't lost his focus in Ligue 1, but admitted that PSG is "too strong for other teams" in the division. After plying his trade in Argentina, Italy, and France in his 12-year professional career, he says he is happy with his achievements in the game so far.

"I never stop to think about it. I've always achieved my goals by being who I am. People often tell me what I should have done, but I'm happy to be who I am."
