PSG's Serge Aurier fit to play in Champions League match vs. Ajax
A frightening incident in last week's AFCON qualifying match between the Ivory Coast and Cameroon saw defender Serge Aurier lose consciousness and get rushed to hospital after suffering a head injury, with little word on his condition being made available in the immediate aftermath.
Thankfully, the powerful fullback has recovered from the incident, and is available to play in Wednesday's Champions League match against Ajax - somewhat of a surprise given the apparent severity of the injury.
Aurier, signed from Toulouse this summer in a deal that should prove to be a nice piece of business for PSG, is in competition with Gregory van der Wiel for playing time at his new club.
While the latter may get the start tomorrow, Aurier is expected by most to assume the starting duties at some point this season - and establish a firm grip on that spot for many years to come.
