Europa League draw: All-German affair, Roma vs. Lyon headline Round of 16

The Europa League Round of 16 draw produced a pair of intriguing pairings as the remaining teams discovered their opponents in the next round Friday in Nyon, Switzerland.

A reunion between AS Roma and Lyon is undoubtedly the most anticipated tie of the lot, as the two famous sides get set to renew a European rivalry that's been dormant since their last meeting in the Champions League in 2007, when the Italians triumphed in the Round of 16 encounter with a 2-0 aggregate win.

An all-German affair between FC Schalke 04 and Borussia Monchengladbach should offer plenty of excitement, while Manchester United was handed a favourable draw against FC Rostov.

Unfortunately for Jose Mourinho and his men, the over 3,500 mile return trip comes just days before United's FA Cup clash with Chelsea.
