Agent: Verratti has received offers from Italy

Marco Verratti's agent says it's just a matter of time before the midfielder leaves Paris Saint-Germain and returns to Italy,

Verratti's agent, Donato Di Campli, confirmed that he has received "offers" from Italian sides interested in his client's services, adding that Inter Milan could be a possible destination following the purchase of the Serie A side by China's Suning Group last summer.

The takeover is eventually expected to help Inter return to the elite status the club enjoyed before its downfall since winning the the Champions League in 2010.

Although the team is expected to offload a number of players during the winter transfer period, Suning is reportedly prepared to invest heavily during future transfer windows.

"Suning could get any player in the world, not only Marco," Di Campli told TeleLombardia, as translated by Ben Gladwell of ESPN FC. "There are lots of clubs interested in him, but PSG need to be asked about it first."

He added: "I can assure you that he won't (stay at PSG for life). I can confirm that he has received offers from Italy, but I don't have any news at the moment. I can only confirm that Suning want to revolutionise the transfer market, but they have not spent well yet."

News of Verratti's possible move away from the French champions comes less than six months after the Italian international put pen to paper on a contract designed to keep him at the Parc des Princes until 2021.
