Antonio Conte has a new striker waiting for his arrival in west London.

Chelsea confirmed the signing of 22-year-old burgeoning Belgian star Michy Batshuayi on Sunday, inking the highly rated striker to a five-year contract from Marseille.

"I am delighted to sign for one of the biggest clubs in Europe and embark on the next chapter in my career. I hope I can help Chelsea win many trophies during my time at Stamford Bridge," said Batshuayi, who scored once while on international duty at Euro 2016.

"Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois have told me many good things about the club, and with Antonio Conte coming in it's an exciting time to become a Chelsea player," added the rising superstar, who becomes the third Belgian on Conte's roster.

"This is a fantastic opportunity for myself and my family, I am looking forward to playing in the Premier League next season."

Though the Blues didn't disclose financial details of the move, it's been widely reported that Batshuayi cost the club £33 million.

Equal parts pacy and powerful, the blistering striker's coming off an outstanding 2015-16 campaign in which he scored 23 goals and provided 10 assists across all competitions. Of those tallies, 17 came in Ligue 1 play.

By contrast, Chelsea's band of attackers - Diego Costa, Loic Remy, Alexandre Pato, and Radamel Falcao - combined for a mere 15 league goals a season ago.

In making the move from the Stade Velodrome to Stamford Bridge, Batshuayi follows in the massive footsteps of club icon Didier Drogba. That deal worked out quite well for the Blues, if we recall correctly.

No pressure, kid.
