Dortmund signs Raphael Guerreiro to long-term contract from Lorient
Borussia Dortmund continues to be one of the busiest teams on the transfer market after securing the services of Portuguese left-back Raphael Guerreiro from Lorient on Thursday.
The Bundesliga outfit announced the transfer after Guerreiro put pen to paper on a four-year contract that lasts until 2020.
"Raphael Guerreiro is a technically experienced player who is equally comfortable in several positions," BVB sporting director Michael Zorc told the team's website. "We are very happy that he has decided to come to Borussia Dortmund."
Guerreiro, 22, spent the last three seasons with Lorient and featured in 34 of the team's 38 Ligue 1 matches last season.
He's the sixth major signing Dortmund has completed since the conclusion of the campaign, joining Marc Bartra, Sebastian Rode, Emre Mor, Ousmane Dembele, and Mikel Merino.
