The future of Chile is quickly making an impact in Mexico.
On Sunday, in the second week of the 2016-17 Liga MX's Torneo Clausura, Pumas defeated Cruz Azul 1-0 by virtue of Nicolas Castillo's first goal in the top flight of Mexican football. Following a deep throw-in that was flicked on, the Chilean centre-forward found the ball at his feet and, with his back facing the goal, proceeded to rocket it past Jesus Corona while falling down.
Castillo later received his first expulsion in Liga MX, picking up a second yellow card only 18 minutes after his goal.
