VIDEO: Roy Keane says new dad Robbie Keane will play 'unless he's breastfeeding'

Roy Keane isn't one to mince words or shy away from sharing his opinion - no matter how blunt or offensive.

Which is why his response to a reporter's question about Robbie Keane's availability for the Republic of Ireland following the birth of his son will go down as yet another classic line from the former Manchester United captain.

"Why wouldn't he be (in the lineup)?" Keane asked after a reporter suggested the LA Galaxy forward might miss the country's Euro 2016 qualifying fixtures against Germany and Poland.

After the reporter attempted to explain, Keane said, "Yeah, but he didn't have the baby, did he?"

"Unless he's breastfeeding, he should be alright."
