Juan Mata finally knows what it feels like to be given marching orders.
On Sunday, only 26 minutes into Manchester United's Premier League fixture at West Bromwich Albion, Mata, who holds a reputation for good behaviour, received his second booking of the match after taking a big swing at Darren Fletcher's shins.
Mata's first yellow card came two minutes earlier, when he encroached by blocking a quickly taken free-kick, and Louis van Gaal could be seen staring at the Spanish attacking midfielder as he exited the pitch.
