In a way, Arsenal achieved a small victory over Leicester City ahead of its meeting with the Premier League leaders on Sunday.

In a move originally reported in January, the North London team has secured the services of Ben Wrigglesworth from Leicester City to become the club's first-team video scout following three-and-a-half seasons as the Foxes' head of technical scouting.

While Arsenal has yet to confirm the hiring, Wrigglesworth took to Twitter to announce his departure:

Wrigglesworth said the decision was difficult, but conceded that joining Arsenal was an opportunity he couldn't pass up.

"I only wish the best for Leicester in the future, and will be eternally grateful to them for getting me to where I am," he said.

Sky Sports reports that Wrigglesworth was integral during the process of scouting Leicester stars such as Riyad Mahrez, Jamie Vardy, and N'Golo Kante.

Arsenal and Leicester City meet at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday in a match with major implications in the title race. Arsenal, which is tied with Tottenham with 48 points in third place, currently trails Leicester by five points with 13 matches remaining.
