Stoke City's Marc Wilson to miss 10-12 weeks with knee injury
Reuters
Stoke City will be without Marc Wilson for roughly three months, as a knee injury suffered in Saturday's FA Cup loss to Crystal Palace has put the versatile Irishman on the shelf for the foreseeable future.
Wilson, 28, was expected to play a key role for the Potters in the absence of Ryan Shawcross and Geoff Cameron, and his injury-induced absence could force the club into a late signing in the January transfer window.
Wilson's attention will likely now switch to Euro 2016, as the timeline above could put his involvement in the tournament in jeopardy.
