Will he or won't he?

That's been the question surrounding former Chelsea and current Montreal Impact striker Didier Drogba, whose future in Canada has come under doubt amid reports he could retire and become a coach.

The doubts seem to have been quelled, however, as the Impact revealed Drogba will join the team for preseason training. While the forward was named in Montreal's preseason roster, he'll miss the opening of camp while training on his own in Qatar.

Drogba will join the team in the second part of training camp between Feb. 15-28 in Florida.

The 37-year-old joined MLS midway through the 2015 season to great success, scoring 11 goals in as many games for the Impact. He's been linked to a return to Stamford Bridge to work as an assistant coach under interim manager Guus Hiddink, who admitted a move wasn't likely.

"In the short term, no, but in the longer term we talked about players with a big image for this club being welcome," Hiddink revealed to reporters. "There's no time issue on this so I wish him all the best now in one of his later seasons."
