Arsenal's Mesut Ozil misses match vs. Stoke City with 'slight foot injury'

Arsenal, looking to collect three points and regain top spot in the Premier League with an always unenviable trip to Stoke City, will be trying to do so without the league's best player.

Midfield maestro Mesut Ozil was left out of the squad for the contest due to a "slight foot injury."

The Premier League's assist king - Ozil has recorded 16 on the campaign - has featured in 20 of the Gunners' 21 matches on the campaign thus far, and while his absence will surely be felt at the Britannia, the fact that the injury doesn't appear to be serious will come as a massive relief for both Wenger and the club's supporters alike.
