Henry, 22, featured at Blackburn on loan toward the end of last season, but suffered a serious hamstring injury in the club's 3-1 victory at Charlton Athletic and returned to West Ham for surgery.

"It is great to be back here again," Henry said. "The last time I was here I felt really welcomed, I got tossed in right away and felt it was made really easy because of how great the guys were here. So I'm just looking to train hard and play my part and give all I have for the team."

The product of Toronto FC could make his second debut for Blackburn on Saturday, when the club hosts Sheffield Wednesday in Championship action.
