Playmaker extraordinaire Ozil records assist in 7th straight Premier League match
In another life, Mesut Ozil must have worked in customer service, providing the greatest assistance in the history of humanity.
The Arsenal midfielder, whose playmaking ability has been the catalyst for the Gunners' impressive season this far, added yet another assist to his ever-growing tally on Saturday, extending his own Premier League record in the process.
By lofting in the cross for Olivier Giroud's header in the opening half of Saturday's contest against West Brom, the German recorded his 11th assist in 12 Premier League matches on the campaign, and has now set up at least one goal in seven straight league games.
While not much of a surprise that bad teams struggle to score, the fact that Ozil has more assists than Aston Villa does goals (10) is impressive nonetheless.
