Agent predicts Ivanovic will agree to new Chelsea deal
Current struggles aside, Branislav Ivanovic will likely sign a new contract, says his agent, Zoran Krneta.
"Most probably he will renew his deal with Chelsea," he told InterLive.it, with translation from ESPNFC.
However, Krneta wasn't willing to rule out a move away from Stamford Bridge as rumours about a transfer to Inter Milan persist.
"In football everything is possible," he responded when asked about the defender moving to Italy.
Krneta predicts that if a deal is not reached between the two sides, Ivanovic would end his tenure at Chelsea during the summer, rather than being sold in the January transfer window.
Ivanovic, whose contract is up at the end of the season, recently overcame a thigh injury that forced him to miss more than a month of action.
