Laurent Koscielny: Late fitness test ahead of Watford
Koscielny (hamstring) is facing a late fitness test for Saturday's fixture against Watford. "We have three players [Koscielny, Mikel Arteta and Mathiu Flamini] who could come back and be available again and I don't think we lost anybody from our last game," manager Arsene Wenger said.
Analysis:
Koscielny was a casualty of the calamitous Olympiakos fixture. His injury was expected to keep him out for three weeks, and three weeks later, he very well could play. If he cannot go, Gabriel will slot back into the starting XI, where he's looked quite comfortable alongside Per Mertesacker after some initial growing pains.
