Messi, Ronaldo, EPL players dominate kit sales
English retailer Kitbag has released its sales numbers for soccer kits for the period between July 1 to September 30, and while the top two names on the list will come as no surprise, the names rounding out the top 10 may raise a few eyebrows.
Barcelona's Lionel Messi and Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo lay claim to the top two spots. What's curious, though, is Manchester United summer signings Memphis Depay and Bastian Schweinsteiger snatching the next two, with club legend Wayne Rooney landing in sixth.
Neither Memphis or World Cup winner Schweinsteiger have started their Premier League careers in great form, though that doesn't appear to be an impediment for those willing to shell out for their jerseys.
