FA charges Watford for surrounding match official against Bournemouth

The Football Association (FA) isn't too impressed with how Watford's players conducted themselves after referee Michael Oliver awarded AFC Bournemouth a late penalty on Saturday, charging the club for its reaction to the call.

When the two promoted clubs clashed at Dean Court, Etienne Capoue tripped Adam Smith inside Watford's 18-yard box, prompting fury from the Hornets before Glenn Murray saw his penalty saved by Heurelho Gomes to produce a 1-1 draw.

From the FA's statement:

Watford have been charged for failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion.

The alleged breach of FA Rule E20 is in relation to surrounding the match official in the 82nd minute of the game against Bournemouth on 3 October 2015.

Watford has until Monday to respond to the charge.
