Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois posted a picture of a rehabilitation session on his Instagram, updating fans Thursday after undergoing knee surgery one week ago.
Courtois was photographed in good spirits, giving two thumbs up with his right knee wrapped in ice while resting on a medical table.
"Since 1 week started my rehabilitation," Courtois wrote. "Everything is going very well on the moment! Thanks for (your) support!"
Club manager Jose Mourinho said Courtois "will be out for quite a long time" as a result of the injury. The BBC reports he'll be out of action for three months. His replacement, Asmir Begovic, is expected to start for the Blues as Courtois recovers.
