West Ham's claim that 'keeper Adrian was wrongfully shown a red card during Saturday's loss to Leicester City has been rejected.
The Football Association's Independent Regulatory Commission determined Tuesday that match official Anthony Taylor's decision to send Adrian off the field for kicking Jamie Vardy in the midsection was correct.
Adrian will now serve a three-match ban for the foul.
Adrian will be replaced by either Darren Randolph or Raphael Spiegel for West Ham's upcoming matches against Bournemouth, Liverpool, and Newcastle United.
