VIDEO: Failure follows Roberto Soldado to Villarreal unveiling
The horrors of Roberto Soldado's miserable stint with Tottenham have seemingly followed him to Villarreal.
As Soldado attempts to rediscover himself in a new setting, he's clearly failed to shed his notorious reputation for missing the mark - although this time, the target was much larger than a net.
The Spanish striker was paraded in front of his new fan base during his unveiling in Spain on Tuesday and participated in the ritual of kicking balls into the crowd.
Unfortunately for fans hoping to catch a souvenir, Soldado promptly hoofed the ball into the second tier of seats - where, surprise, there were no fans.

Soldado joined Tottenham in August 2013 and scored only seven Premier League goals, four of them from the penalty spot, with 35 percent shot accuracy.
