Joey Logano: Crash and DNF at Vegas
Logano crashed and finished 36th in the Pennzoil 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
Logano started from the pole and looked in good position to challenge for the win in Las Vegas. He'd lead just 9 laps before falling back into the field and losing touch with the leaders. Logano would run into trouble on lap 183 when the No. 22 Ford would spin out of control and hit the outside wall. The damage was extensive and Logano would be retired for the day on the damaged vehicle policy. It was his first DNF of the season.
