Leicester City today announced the signing of defender Yohan Benalouane from Serie A side Atalanta.
The 28-year old Tunisian joins the Foxes after making 27 appearances for Atalanta last season, hoping to find a place in a Claudio Ranieri side that is poised to improve on last year's stellar second-half Premier League performance.
Benalouane joins Leicester on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee, according to Leicester City's official website.
The towering center-back was instrumental to Atalanta's Serie A fight for survival last year and should become a key member of a Foxes' defensive core that features captain Wes Morgan and Robert Huth.
