Yohan Cabaye open to Crystal Palace move

Yohan Cabaye could be on the verge of a return to the Premier League following a frustrating spell with Paris Saint-Germain.

The former Newcastle United midfielder admitted he's open to playing in England's top flight and would be intrigued by the possibility of reuniting with former manager Alan Pardew at Crystal Palace.

The pair spent three seasons together on Tyneside before Cabaye's departure for Paris in January 2014. Pardew traveled south to join Palace a year later.

“It went very well with him (last time)," Cabaye told reporters while on international duty with France.

"If I have to make that decision, it will be a pleasure to see my old coach. I enjoy it with him and he does a great job.

"I am in a situation today where I am not getting the game time that I was hoping for. The important thing is that I will think carefully and make the best decision. We will see how it evolves in the coming weeks.”

Cabaye struggled to crack Laurent Blanc's first team for much of their championship-winning season, making only 24 appearances with PSG.
