VIDEO: John Oliver delivers on FIFA promises following Blatter's resignation
Comedian John Oliver is a man of his word following a series of promises he made if Sepp Blatter were to step down from his position as FIFA president.
Following the series of indictments that saw 14 FIFA officials get arrested on corruption charges, Oliver pledged to sample a trio of products from various sponsors of the football governing body if they put pressure on FIFA to get rid of the 79-year-old president.
His commitment occurred two days after Blatter won re-election for a fifth term. And, on the following Wednesday, Blatter announced his intentions to resign from the position he's held since 1998.
All that was left to close this chapter was for Oliver to wear a pair of ludicrous Adidas shoes, sample every item from the McDonald's Dollar Menu and - the most vile of them all - chug a Bud Light Lime.
Time to pony-up, Mr. Oliver:
