Jimmie Johnson: Full IndyCar in 2022

Johnson announced that he will run the full 2022 NTT IndyCar schedule for Chip Ganassi Racing, which includes the Indianapolis 500.

Analysis:

Johnson will increase his involvement in IndyCar in 2022 with Carvana backing. He ran just the road circuits last season in his inaugural campaign in the series. In the upcoming season he'll pick up the ovals as well, including the Indianapolis 500. Chip Ganassi Racing will once again field his team and they'll aim for better results in season two.
