Brad Friedel: Hanging it Up
Friedel announced Thursday that he will retire at the conclusion of the season.
Analysis:
Friedel has played in England for 17 seasons, and he holds the record for most consecutive starts in Premier League play (310). He's spent time with a number of clubs, including Galatasaray, Columbus Crew, Liverpool, Blackburn and Aston Villa before joining Spurs in 2011. He has also been capped 82 times for the United States, the fourth-most capped keeper in the US Men's National Team history.
