Report: Inter Milan interested in Chelsea's Cech

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech could be heading for the exits after more than a decade at Stamford Bridge.

With Thibaut Courtois assuming the starting role and proving to be a capable replacement, Cech will likely seek a move away from Chelsea in an effort to gain increased playing time with another club.

That other club might be in Italy where Inter Milan has apparently joined Roma as clubs interested in scooping up the Czech Republic international, according to Matt Barlow of the Daily Mail.

The report also suggests Cech would prefer to remain in London, with Arsenal appearing in multiple publications as an interested suitor. The 32-year-old 'keeper, however, will apparently reject a move to a Premier League rival out of respect for Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.

He would also reportedly prefer to play Champions League football next season, a requirement Inter Milan would be unable to fulfill after a disappointing Serie A campaign where they currently sit eighth in the table. Yet Roma and Arsenal will likely secure places in the lucrative tournament by season's end.

Cech has helped the West London club capture four league titles among various other trophies since signing with them in 2004.

But since losing the starting gig to Courtois, Cech has been used sparingly after only appearing in 14 games in all competitions, including six Premier League matches.
