Chandler Smith: Tops Nashville Practice

Smith topped the speed charts in practice for Friday's Inaugural Rackley Roofing 200 at Nashville Superspeedway with a lap of 161.489 mph.

Smith also topped the consecutive 5 and 10 lap averages in Friday's lone practice session. Kyle Busch Motorsports is no doubt back to their winning ways in 2021 with seven wins of the 11 races to date in the Truck Series, but Smith has yet to find the same success. Maybe a new track in Nashville with a fast car is just what the doctor ordered for the talented young wheelman. Smith should have a good shot at pole later this afternoon before Friday night's 200-mile race.
