VIDEO: Lampard's expression when called a Manchester City legend is amazing
Frank Lampard was all smiles until one television presenter completely disregarded his historic Chelsea career.
While it was likely a slip of the tongue, Lampard's facial expression was priceless. His smile was erased in an instant when Holly Willoughby introduced the midfielder as a Manchester City legend.
Lampard's 33 games since joining Manchester City in the summer are a far cry from legendary status. He appeared in 648 games during an illustrious career in London, where he literally became a club legend after helping Chelsea win several trophies and becoming the team's all-time leading scorer.
The 36-year-old, who will join New York City FC when the Premier League season concludes, was on a television quiz show in England called Play to the Whistle when the embarrassing mistake occurred.
