Austin Cindric: Leads Xfinity Practice at COTA

Cindric was fastest in Friday practice for the Pit Boss Grills 250 NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Circuit of the Americas. He turned a fast lap of 89.100 mph.

Analysis:

It was no surprise to see the Penske Racing prodigy lead this lone practice session at Circuit of the Americas Friday. Cindric edged Daniel Hemric to top the scoring pylon after this 50-minute session. The driver of the No. 22 Ford is a four-time winner on Xfinity Series road courses, and he'll be tough to beat Saturday at COTA.
