Denny Hamlin: Top-5 Finish at Atlanta
Hamlin finished fourth in the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
The Joe Gibbs Racing star started on the pole and led the first 27 laps from the drop of the green flag. That would get the field through to the competition caution. The leaders would pit and Kyle Larson would then take control. Hamlin would be a fixture among the Top 10 the rest of the day, but he'd never get another peek of the lead. Still, the driver of the No. 11 Toyota would cruise to a strong fourth-place finish. It was Hamlin's fifth Top-5 finish through six races this season.
