Larson dominated the afternoon at Atlanta Motor Speedway. He would lead a whopping 269 laps and take victories in the first two stages. Larson looked set to collect the dominant victory until late. Ryan Blaney would track him down and pass him with just 8 laps to go. Larson would fall 2 seconds back by the checkered flag, for the deflating but still impressive runner-up finish. It was his third Top 5 of the season.
