Jose Mourinho on Jurgen Klopp's future: 'He's not coming to Chelsea'

Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp is already being linked with a number of Premier League clubs after having announced earlier this week that he'll be leaving the Westfalenstadion at the end of the season.

However, according to Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, one destination that can be ruled out for the German manager is Stamford Bridge.

"The only thing I know is he's not coming to Chelsea," Mourinho said. "He told me that personally, so I'm calm."

Of course, none of that should come as a surprise since most people expect Mourinho to be at Chelsea next season, likely defending the Premier League title.

A club like Manchester City, on the other hand, seems like a more logical team for Klopp. Reports have indicated that City are ready to sack manager Manuel Pellegrini before the end of the season if there's a risk of missing out on the 2015-16 Champions League, although other reports claim that City have already denied interest in the German manager.

Then there are Arsenal, who have been linked to Klopp in the past. A move to the Emirates Stadium appears unlikely in the short term, but the club's own Per Mertesacker believes that Klopp would be well suited to managing in the Premier League.

"His passion would fit and to see him in England would be very interesting," Mertesacker said, according to BBC Sport. "It would be nice if a German coach would take the challenge of working in the Premier League."
