Chase Elliott: O'Reilly Auto Parts 253 Pole

Elliott will start from the pole for Sunday's O'Reilly Auto Parts 253 at Daytona International Speedway.

Analysis:

NASCAR used it's qualifying formula to set the grid for this week's road course event at Daytona. Elliott will get to roll off from P1 Sunday afternoon. He'll start along side Daytona 500 winner, Michael McDowell, on row 1. Elliott is the winner of the last four Cup Series road course events, and he's a heavy-odds favorite to win Sunday's O'Reilly Auto Parts 253.
