Chase Briscoe: Third at Texas Motor Speedway

Briscoe finished third in the My Bariatric Solutions 300 Xfinity Series race at Texas Motor Speedway Saturday afternoon.

Analysis:

The driver of the No. 98 Ford had another strong outing Saturday at the Fort Worth oval. Briscoe raced among the Top 10 all afternoon. He would make a long green-flag run in stage 3 to lead 15 laps, but eventually would have to pit out of the lead. Briscoe would climb back into contention in the closing laps and the late caution would give him a shot at the win. He would have to settle for the brilliant third-place finish, which was his 10th Top 5 of the season.
