Jose Mourinho says Petr Cech won't be sold for bargain price
Petr Cech won't be sold from Stamford Bridge at a reduced cost if Jose Mourinho gets his way.
Despite the Chelsea 'keeper's lack of playing time in a reserve role, Mourinho continues to consider Cech as one of the world's best.
While he won't stand in the way if Cech requests a transfer, the Czech international likely won't be sold unless the asking price reflects the Portuguese boss' assessment.
"If he tells me he wants to leave, I will tell him my opinion and my opinion is one of the three best goalkeepers in the world. Huge money," Mourinho said, according to Sky Sports.
Cech, who got the start during Chelsea's Capital One Cup triumph over Tottenham, has struggled for playing time behind Belgian 'keeper Thibaut Courtois. He's only managed to appear in five Premier League matches, a far cry from the 34 he started last season.
