Lando Norris: Wins IndyCar iRace at COTA

Norris rebounded from a mid-race spin Saturday, and the Formula One driver rallied to win the IndyCar iRacing Challenge at Circuit of The Americas, NBC Sports reports.

Analysis:

It was quite a debut for the F1 driver in IRL's iRacing Challenge. Norris won the pole position and dominated the first half of the event at the virtual Circuit of the Americas. He would spin out mid-race while leading and fall back into the field. Norris ran a blistering pace to climb back into contention. With 4 laps to go he would retake the lead when then-leader Felix Rosenqvist spun out. Norris would march from there to the checkered flag to take his first IndyCar iRacing victory.
