Joey Logano: Eliminated from the Chase

Logano finished ninth in the Bluegreen Vacations 500 at ISM Raceway Sunday afternoon.

Analysis:

Logano entered Sunday in the fourth and final spot for the championship round of the Chase. He would lead twice for 93 laps and look like a contender to win early on. However, a late pit stop would see his No. 22 Ford become unbelievably tight-handling. Logano would struggle to stay on the lead lap, and ultimately finish ninth-place. With Denny Hamlin's victory, Logano was eliminated from the Chase for the Cup playoffs.
