Saturday's match against Caen was, simply put, a disaster for Paris Saint-Germain and manager Laurent Blanc.

The Ligue 1 title hopefuls threw away a chance to go top of the league by conceding two late goals (in the 89th and 92 minutes), settling for a 2-2 draw when three points looked all but assured.

But with the first leg of their Champions League Round of 16 tie against Chelsea coming up on Tuesday, Blanc has far bigger concerns on his mind.

All five men suffered their respective injuries at various points in Saturday's match, and forced to the side to finish the contest with nine men after Blanc had already used all three of his substitutes before Lucas and Aurier were felled with their undisclosed ailments.

Blanc will take some solace in the fact he has ready-made replacements for most of the aforementioned men. Marquinhos will be replaced by David Luiz, Aurier will make way for Gregory van der Wiel and Cabaye was unlikely to even start the match, with Thiago Motta the favorite to take his place.

The major concern will be the health of Lucas, whose pace and creativity on the wing has been a key element for the French side this season, and one that isn't easily replicated in the squad.
