Everton's Tim Howard will return from calf injury vs. Chelsea
Reuters
Everton manager Roberto Martinez confirmed Tuesday that goalkeeper Tim Howard had recovered from his calf injury, and Wednesday the club announced that the American will indeed be thrown right back into the fire at the first opportunity.
Howard, who has not played since suffering the ailment on Boxing Day against Stoke City, will be between the sticks when Everton visits league leaders Chelsea later Wednesday.
Howard replaces Joel Robles, who oversaw the goalkeeping duties for eight consecutive matches during the 35-year-old's absence.
