Kyle Larson: Third at MIS

Larson finished third in the Consumers Energy 400 at Michigan International Speedway Sunday afternoon.

Analysis:

Larson worked the wheel well in his strong No. 42 Chevrolet. He would battle traffic much of the day starting mid-pack in the Consumers Energy 400. The handling would improve on his Chevy Camaro and he'd break inside the Top 10 late in stage 3. Using that good track position and good fuel mileage he would gradually work his way to third-place. The Top-5 finish was his fifth of the season and second in the last three races.
