Chelsea's Mohamed Salah is on his way to the Serie A after Fiorentina manager Vincenzo Montella said his club acquired the midfielder as part of their agreement to send Juan Cuadrado to Stamford Bridge.
"The club has done the right thing because we are also getting a very good player," Montella said on the team's website.
The news comes after Jose Mourinho denied speculation connecting the Egyptian midfielder with a move away.
But limited playing time left the Portuguese boss with little option but to include Salah in a deal with the Serie A club in order to make the move for Cuadrado possible.
