Andre Schurrle's move away from Stamford Bridge appears to be on the verge of completion following a reported agreement between the German international and Wolfsburg.

Chelsea and the Bundesliga club continue to negotiate a transfer fee for the midfielder, with German magazine Kicker reporting that the Premier League club are hoping to get €30 million for Schurrle.

Schurrle's agent, Ingo Haspel, confirmed the imminent move, saying his client and Wolfsburg have already come to a verbal agreement and expects an announcement to be made Friday.

"There are still a few things to discuss, but we're no longer talking about figures," he said, as reported by ESPNFC.

With Wolfsburg getting set to open the second half of their season Friday against league leaders Bayern Munich, an announcement may not occur until the weekend.

Wolfsburg, currently in second place, trail Bayern by 11 points through 17 matches.

A year after making 30 Premier League appearances for Chelsea, it's been a disappointing campaign in London with the league leaders. Schurrle's only managed to make 14 appearances, nine as a substitute, and has found the back of the net three times.

The reported move to Germany will mark a return to the Bundesliga for the World Cup winner. He spent the majority of his career there before making the move to the Premier League, playing with Bayer Leverkusen and FSV Mainz 05.
