Mario Balotelli happy at Liverpool, says agent

Mario Balotelli's agent, Mino Raiola, says the striker is happy at Liverpool. Contrary to reports, Balotelli is not looking for a move away from Anfield at the moment.

Balotelli, who signed with the Reds in a 16-million pound move from AC Milan this past summer, was left out of the squad for Saturday's FA Cup match against Bolton, adding fuel to reports that he could be on his way out this month.

But Raiola says that is not the case.

"Yes, he is happy at Liverpool," the agent told Sky Sports News. "Nobody is happy to be left out, but he reacted in a professional way. Mario will win this struggle and become better. It is then up to Brendan Rodgers to give him a chance."

Raiola also downplayed reports that the relationship between the Italian striker and Rodgers is fractured.

"They're talking and it is a good relationship," he said. "Mario likes him. They do not agree on everything - it is technical reasons they don't agree on - but Mario will strive to give the manager what he wants."
